Functional Pigments for Floorings
Within the Minatec® product family, Merck offers you functional pigments for the manufacturing of conductive, antistatic coatings. The Minatec® pigments distinguish themselves by their permanent conductivity and light mass tone color. The surface resistance that can be achieved with the conductive Minatec® pigments range from 103 to 109 ohms. The light, conductive Minatec® pigments permit a controlled electrostatic conduction of electric charge, and are being increasingly used for industrial applications where the black color from the commonly used conductive carbon black is disruptive. The Minatec® pigments are particularly suited for antistatic coatings of light and chromatic surfaces.
